Hi, I'm Julie and welcome to Body Wellness!
After years behind an office desk, I decided to follow my heart and trained to become a professional Massage Therapist. 19 years of service experience and continuous training later, it is still one of the best life decision I've made!
My passion for helping others and massage constantly motivates me to upgrade my skills, learn with like-minded professionals and keep up to date with the latest developments in the industry. I am fully qualified in all the services I provide, have both clinic and hospital experience, and I am a member of following professional bodies:-

Australasian Lymphology Association (ALA) - Registered Lymphoedema Practitioner
Oncology Massage Ltd (OML)- Registered Oncology Therapist
I operate Body Wellness from a home-based clinic in Balnarring with an aim to give you the attention and individual service you deserve. However, if you are unable to travel to me because of poor health, please ring me for a quote to travel to your area.
Your first treatment will involve a consultation in which we will go over your history and find what you are hoping to achieve from the session.

TREATMENT OPTIONS
As well as managing Lymphoedema and swelling, Oncology and Remedial Treatments. I also have a selection of Relaxing Treatments including Relaxation Massage and Reflexology.
MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE & DECONGESTION THERAPIES
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) - This treatment aims at stimulating the body’s lymphatic circulation.
Decongestive Lymphatic Therapies (DLT) along with MLD to Reduce Risk, Management and Reduction of Swelling in the form of Lymphoedema, Oedema, Lipedema with specialised massage, compression / pumps / Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

REMEDIAL / CUPPING TREATMENT
Remedial Massage is a clinical approach to aid soft tissue repair or dysfunction. This type of massage holistically treats the whole body, healing both the cause of the disorder as well as the symptoms.
Cupping is a therapy from Traditional Chinese origins. It can be used in conjunction with your remedial treatment.

CANCELLATIONS
Cancellation fees applies as follows, prior to treatment:
Less than 24 hours - 50% of treatment price.
Less than 12 hours - 100% of treatment price.
PAYMENT METHODS
New clients are required to pay ahead of treatment, sadly this is due to so many "no show" appointments being lost. Should you need to cancel before the cancellation policy times a full refund will be given. (minus bank transaction fees). Otherwise we accept cash, eftpos at the time of your treatment.
Payments via bank transfers are also accepted. However, bank transfer payments have to be arranged prior to treatments. Please contact me for bank details.
HEALTH FUND REBATE
Please check with your Health Fund, as you may be able to claim Health Fund Rebate on Remedial Treatments.
HICAPS available for remedial massage, just pay the gap!
